Overview

Itinerary
Pick up from Colombo or Bandaranaike International Airport and proceed to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka, through scenic countryside roads.
Upon arrival, begin Kandy sightseeing with a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa). Continue with a walk around Kandy Lake, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, a gem museum, and local handicraft shops.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kandyan cultural dance performance.

After breakfast, drive towards the breathtaking Knuckles Mountain Range, a UNESCO World Heritage–listed conservation area. The journey itself offers stunning views of valleys, waterfalls, spice gardens, and remote villages.
Arrive at your eco-lodge or hotel in the Knuckles area and spend the afternoon at leisure. Optional activities include nature walks, bird watching, or simply relaxing in the cool mountain climate.

After breakfast, depart from Knuckles and travel towards Nuwara Eliya, passing through scenic mountain roads and tea-covered hills.
En route, enjoy photo stops at waterfalls and viewpoints. Visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about Ceylon tea processing and taste freshly brewed tea.
Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, check in to your hotel, and enjoy a relaxed evening in the cool climate.

After breakfast, explore Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as “Little England.” Visit Gregory Lake Park, Victoria Park, the historic Old Post Office, and enjoy views of colonial buildings such as the Grand Hotel.

Evening at leisure.

Early morning departure (packed breakfast) to Horton Plains National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s most important nature reserves. Enjoy a scenic hike through cloud forests and grasslands to famous viewpoints such as World’s End, Mini World’s End, and Baker’s Falls.
Return to Nuwara Eliya by midday and spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring the town at your own pace.
